Community Languages are languages spoken by members of minority communities. While 98% of the population speak English as their main language, there are 15 languages used in the UK with more than 100,000 speakers with Polish, Punjabi, Guajarati, and Urdu being the most popular. As a result of Bradford being one of the most diverse cities in the country, BTM has often been relied on to work with minorities to produce information in the popular languages on a wide range of health and social issues.
